Ovezande - In an old bakehouse of a beautiful Zeeland farm

Staying in an old little bakehouse (18m2) next to an old farm in a beautiful rural part of Zeeland. Here you can stay in the style of the Dutch past.

Enjoy a real Zeeland breakfast in the farmhouse or outside in the orchard served on beautiful old plates with fresh flowers from the garden.

The bakehouse is suitable for 2 persons. It has two single beds, fresh flowers, an heritage shower with plain old Dutch tiles: Witjes, a small sink of Belgian stone with only cold water and Delft purple/white tiles, flatscreen tv/dvd/cd player with dvd's,internet, a coffeemaker with free coffee and tea.

Outside you can relax in our gardenroom with kitchen, loungeset and fireplace. The kitschen has an onepit, a microwave, fridge, small oven, plates and cutlery, nespresso and watercooker.

Or when the weather is nice, relax in the skyblue deckchairs with pillows & blankets and enjoy the peace and beauty of the orchard.

New "grandma"bicycles are available to explore the rural area with its flowerdikes and many orchards with appletrees, peartrees and black berries.

Walk on the dikes along the Westerschelde and see how the boats sail to Antwerp, rent a canoe or play golf, visit the many small Dutch villages, visit beautiful teagardens and little farmshops with delicious different types of cheese, icecream, milk and fruitjuices and most of all enjoy the part of Zeeland where you can still be alone...or

Visit the famous Belgian cities like Brugge, Gent, Antwerp. They are only an hour drive away. Dutch cities: Middelburg 20 km and Goes 12 km.

There is a small beach near the B&B, the popular beaches are a 20 to 40 minutes drive away. Restaurants are in other villages around Ovezande, but it is also possible to have dinner (table d'hote) in the farmhouse near the fireplace or outside in the orchard. Or you can make your own diner in the outdoor kitchen. There is a supermarket in the village.

Mooie sfeervolle B&B, de tuinkamer is echt een aanwinst, gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk, ontbijt is super!

Het was een echt landlevenplekje. Gezellig 's avonds met een wijntje bij de kachel onder een plaid in de buitenkeuken gezeten. Als je daar ook van houdt is het een ideale plek. Een heerlijk ontbijt en gezellige ingericht huisje. Wel klein maar door de ruimte buiten vonden wij dat geen probleem, de bedden waren goed en ook de douche was heerlijk! Voor ons stukken leuker dan een hotel!
