Détruite en 1944, la ligne.62 fut durant près de quatre-vingt ans d’une importance capitale pour les déplacements de la Belgique vers la France et pour la connexion avec le Royaume-uni. Elle connut ses plus belles heures dans les années 20 lorsqu’elle voyait les grands de ce monde passer à bord du Ostende-Paris Pullman Express. Depuis la station côtière, on embarquait vers toute l’Europe dans des trains d’une rare élégance : l’Express Vienne, le Cologne Pullman Express...
De cet âge d’or, il ne restait à Moere que l’ancienne gare. Aux confins d’une allée cachée dans la campagne flamande, il trône, intact, à l’ombre d"érables pourpres. We experienced three wonderful days at spoor62 in Moere. Allready at reservation Irma proved to be a great host. Also during our stay she was always there when we needed her for advice or other things, but she was never to much present. We enjoyed a calm and luxerious atmosphere during the days and only went out for a 2 hour walk and evening dinner in the restaurants Irma recommended and kindly made reservations for. Spoor62 is the perfect hide away to relax and enjoy. Just go there, read a book at the fire place, enjoy the view from your room with a glass of wine, take a bath, sleep late and enjoy Irma's beautiful breakfast. There are plenty of possible other activities close to the B&B, like a modern spa, the beach, Brugge, biking routes etc. But we did not experience the need to go anywhere.....

We found a fabulous B&B on your website called Spoor62 and the owner very kindly agreed that we could stay for just the one night (although usually the policy for the weekend is two nights). The photos on your website did not let us down. It has an old world charm being built onto the old Moere train station but the interior is very modern and tastefully decorated. We loved the fact that it was close enough to Brugge that we could easily visit and go for dinner but was situated in the countryside so that we could escape from the tourist crowds and spend the evening in front of the roaring wood fire in the salon with a book and glass of wine. I can add that the breakfast was fabulous and original and the host is lovely...charming, friendly and informative. We highly recommend this B&B. Thanks for adding it to your site!
