De Traverse is located in a characteristic eighteenth century limestone building close to Maastricht. In the last decade of the previous century the house is completely renovated and provided with a modern interior.

Accommodation Our five large, pleasant rooms are decorated with antique furniture, including 2 easy chairs and they are all different from each other. The rooms have a bathroom with shower and toilet, television, radio and telephone. Around the house lies a beautiful garden annex to the meadows and including a tennis-court. In the morning we serve a delicious breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice, home made jam and warm rolls.

Sights of Maastricht/surroundings/natureDe Traverse is located in the small village of Gasthuis (Bemelen) at 10 minutes by car from the centre of Maastricht. In our place you may enjoy the stillness, the quiet and the beautiful views of the countryside and yet you are close to the city. De Traverse makes a good start for a walk or bicycle tour in the surrounding countryside. Of course a visit to the city of Maastricht is very worth while. And when you return, you may play a set at the clay tennis-court or enjoy our beautiful wines on the terrace.

Ligging fantastisch !Zeer mooi gelegen, rustig fantastisch uitzicht, direct op wandelnetwerk en toch dicht bij Maastricht. Vriendelijke eigenaars !
