Guesthouse Prinsengracht 490 Amsterdam

A perfect place to stay! Very central but still quiet. And very nice owners.

Erg mooi appartement, leuk met het bed op de vide, een mooie badkamer, koelkast, waterkoker, senseo en servies en bestek, zodat je ook zelf een ontbijten kan verzorgen. Alles aanwezig! Mooi pand op de Prinsengracht, vriendelijke gastheer, we hebben erg genoten!

Supermooi -appartementje- met slaapkamer op een vliering, direct aan de gracht gelegen op een prima locatie. Zeer smaakvol ingericht. Ontvangst was kort maar krachtig, persoonlijk vond ik dat heel prettig. Note: het is een bed&breakfast zonder breakfast, maar er is een bakkertje op de hoek en een stukje verdop zit een goede broodjeszaak. Dit B&B is echt een aanrader !!

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in het guesthouse. De ligging is fantastisch, het is schoon en is echt een aanrader.

Leuk appartement op goede locatie

Fantastic location. Great to share both apartments with friends rather than being in individual hotel rooms. Great host/owner.

Vooral het terras was perfekt. We ontebeten 's ochtend daar met blik op het rijksmuseum! Nederland op z'n best!

Location, location, location says it all. This stylish, comfortable, and modern loft apartment is close to everything in the center of Amsterdam, and the view over the canal was spectacular. The owner lives in the building and rents out the 2 top floor apartments, so it felt very private and secure. The bed was incredibly comfortable,which was important to this weary traveller. While there was a frig, coffee pot, and tea kettle(and well-stocked supply of excellent coffee and tea)there was no place/way to prepare or heat food, so one shouldn't go with the idea of doing any cooking. That said, there are tons of restaurants close by and you shouldn't miss the fabulous bakery at the end of the street where the tram stops. The owner was out of town when we arrived, and he arranged for a friend to let us in, so it's hard to say what kind of assistance he may or may not provide to others upon arrival. We are adventurous and managed on our own just fine. When we did meet several days later, we found him to be most friendly and gracious. We would definitely recommend this apartment, especially for a weekend or short-stay traveler.

The apartment was very stylish and comfortable...perfect for two adults. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved that it overlooked the canal and that it was in a lively part of town. The owner of the Guesthouse was quite nice and helpful. The best part of Guesthaus 490 however is the location. One can walk to all of the major sights and museums. Public transportation is right at the end of the block, and there are many excellent restaurants within an easy walk. We loved it!

Geweldige ligging aan de Prinsengracht, je stapt naar buiten en zit middenin Amsterdam. Een appartement geeft je volledige vrijheid, je hoeft nergens rekening mee te houden. Voldoende ontbijttentjes om de hoek om 's ochtends wat te eten.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, Alles perfect verlopen. Zeer goed ligging, op een paar honderd meter van de het Leidseplein maar ook niet ver van de 9 straatjes. Zeer vezorgd interieur en geweldige badkamer. Zeker een aanrader
