‘Het Chirurgijnshuys’ falls under the protection of the Architectural Heritage of the Dutch National foundation for maintaining and protecting specific buildings built in the traditional ‘Zaanse’ style, which is characteristic for this part of the Netherlands.

The Bed & Breakfast accommodation, which boarders directly to the main house, is a completely independent part of the house with its own private entrance to the accommodation. Parking space for both cars as well as bicycles is available, which is free of costs.

The Bed & Breakfast area has been completely renovated, redecorated and refurnished in order to create the space into a comfortable and bright ground floor and first floor accommodation, offering all convenient appliances and necessities for you in order to make you feel at home during your stay.

Furthermore, cars can be parked in our private parking space, which is next to the main house. We also offer covered space in which bicycles can be stored.

Breakfast will be served in a separate area, bordering the accommodation. This area has been specifically designed in order for guests to partake their breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It is also possible to enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner outside in the garden in case desired and when weather allows it!

When desired we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Do not hesitate to consult us in case you would like to make use of this facility.

It is nowhere inside the house allowed to smoke. However, it is allowed to smoke outside in the garden. Also, we are unable to allow any pets inside or outside the accommodation.

Zeer mooie B&B, vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Een echte meevaller voor ons. Wij hebben dit als uitvalsbasis gebruikt om Amsterdam te bezoeken, maar ook de omgeving daar lijkt me de moeite waard.

Prima, wij hebben van hieruit A'dam bezocht. Goed te doen: met auto naar P&R Sloterdijk (hier was wel een rij wachtenden, niet te laat aankomen!), 24-uur parkeren voor 6 euro incl. 5 retourtickets ov (trein naar A'dam centraal of tram). Van B&B naar A'dam centraal kun je in een half uur doen, zonder wachttijd bij de P&R uiteraard. Overnachten in een "vergelijkbaar" hotel in A'dam, 2 volw. en 3 kids, is gewoon veel duurder.
