Stoumont - Moulin de Rahier, a place for staying in the High Ardennes!
We offer:
Luxurious Bed & Breakfast / Chambres d’hôtes in the valley of the river the Lienne. From here you can stroll endlessly through the beautiful environment. Little streams, roads, footpaths, meadows; they all come together near our house. The valley is carved out by the river the Lienne, an only partly tamed stream. Nature is beautiful around here, but you can also visit nice, little villages and old houses. We have several bicycles and mountain bikes that you can always use to discover the surroundings.
Inside the house you will find a large living with a fire-place. In the winter there is always a fire burning to warm you after your excursions.. There is a huge table where you can eat, play games or read your newspaper. Upstairs we have a small lounge with an extensive library and a big, flat television-screen. You can withdraw here if you want to. Throughout the house you will find sanitary. Outside you can sit on our shielded terras.

On the first floor:
Chambre “Lavande”: one double bed
Chambre “Orleandre”: two single beds
Second floor:
Chambre “Mimosa”: one double bed
Chambre “Sapin”: three single beds. We can also place a children’s bed here. Or more beds when the motor- or bicycle club arrives.
All rooms have luxury facilities: a bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower; internet; television with dvd or video. The beds are new. All our rooms have there own specific view on the surroundings!
Food:
A a very delicious Continental breakfast is included in the price.
If you want to go out walking for instance, we can make you a take away lunch or arrange a normal lunch. Of course you can stay for diner if you want to.
We can take care of special diets. Anyhow, we use biological products as much as possible. We advice you to make a reservation for diner in advance
What can you do:
At a distance of about 15 km you can find the falls of Coo. Nearby is plopsa-coo, for the children. The older youth up to 65 can rent a kayak here, a mountainbike or do other adventurous things.
Aywaille and Malmedy with numerous terrasses, shops, café’s and restaurants.
Spa, with its worldfamous springs, thermal baths and casino.
Stavelot, a medieval centre and monastery.
The racingcircuit of Francorchamps.
The caves of Remouchamps.
The castle of Harzé.
The valley of the Amblève.
And in winter skiing! If the conditions are good….

Feest-arrangement
Wij bieden u aan:
Aankomst ergens gedurende de dag. Een gezellig aperitief rond de
klok van vijf met een lekker drankje. Daarna schuift u aan voor een
heerlijke drie- of viergangenmaaltijd. Met veel ruimte voor de speech,
de sketch of gewoon gezellig te praten en eventuele cadeaus te
overhandigen.
’s Avonds na de uitgebreide koffie nog een lekker drankje bij de
openhaard of gewoon aan de gezellige lange tafel.
Niemand hoeft ergens op te letten, want men kan gewoon na het feestje
lekker het bed in rollen!
’s Morgens na een verwenontbijt hebt u nog alle tijd om leuke dingen te doen. Wanneer u dat wilt, vertrekt u weer naar huis.
………of u blijft natuurlijk nog een dagje!
De standaardprijs voor een “ feestarrangement” bedraagt: € 69,- per persoon voor het volledige arrangement. Vanaf 4 tot 8 personen. Meerdere personen op aanvraag.
Een langer verblijf dan één nacht is uiteraard mogelijk.
Op verzoek en als de wens uitvoerbaar is worden speciale wensen gehonoreerd. Zo kunnen wij: Champagne serveren bij het aperitief (of ontbijt!); de kamer versieren met bloemen; vuurwerk (in beperkte mate) afsteken –ook als het niet oudejaar is- ; Cadeaus neerleggen; dvd’s op een groot scherm afspelen; kampvuren maken…..
