This very special Bed & Breakfast is located in National Park “de Sallandse Heuvelrug”, a protected nature reserve in the green heart of the Netherlands province Overijssel.

De Kleine Kolonel offers year round accommodation to those who value nature, peace and tranquillity in 5-star comfort.

De Kleine Kolonel hosts up to 4 guests. The cottage, with its characteristic thatched & tiled roof, is an independent accommodation located next to our former farm house. De Kleine Kolonel has a sunny south facing terrace, while a large orchard with oak and horse chestnut trees provides plenty of shade and space to relax. Parking space is available immediately adjacent to the accommodation.

Inside you will find a comfortable lounge, a kitchen and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom equipped with floor heating, full bath, shower, basin and toilet. The former coach entrance offers a spectacular view of the gardens, the neighbouring fields and the distant forest. Breakfast is served by this window. Whenever the weather permits breakfast is served outside on the terrace.

De Kleine Kolonel is smoke free, we offer wifi throughout and excellent heating to keep you warm on a cold winters day. As we wish to guarantee all guests a relaxing and comfortable stay, our B&B is not suited to young children and pets.

Are you getting married or are you about celebrate an Anniversary, we are pleased to offer you a memorable Wedding Special.

For our Wedding Special the entire cottage is available for your exclusive use. We guarantee that no other guests are booked, so you have complete privacy to ensure full enjoyment of your special stay. Of course we will ensure special treatment with a Champagne breakfast each morning and appropriate decorations.

The Wedding Special starts from Euro 395 for 2 nights, each additional night is Euro 150.

With the kids idea:

Minimum age 16 years.

Meeting idea:

We offer meeting facilities for up to 9 people and overnight accomodation for 4 persons. Additional accomodation is available in the neighbourhood:

- Overnight stay incl. breakfast Euro 90/person.
