Ghent - Modernistic house in the Arts Quarter
Our house, in the style of Le Corbusier, is located in the Arts Quarter of the city, around the corner from the Bijloke and stam, in easy walking distance of the railway station Sint-Pieters, smak museum and the picturesque town centre. A tram connecting the station and the city centre stops less than 100m from the house. It is close to a freeway exit for those travelling by car. Ample parking is available in the street at 3 euro for 24 hours.
The 2nd floor of the house is entirely at the disposal of guests only and consists of 2 bedrooms (one with double bed and one with 2 twin beds), a bathroom and a large balcony on the south. Private use of the bathroom is possible. Both rooms overlook greenery. An excellent breakfast is served in the living room or the garden. There is a fast internet connection in the house. If you stay for a longer time, sharing of the kitchen may be arranged. The house is quiet, light and inspiring and makes an ideal place for personal retreat or to work on a creative project.
We are grateful for the beauty, space and richness of our house and love to share it with others.
Prices: 40-50€ for 1 person, 65-80€ for 2 people, 85-110€ for 3 people, 100-130€ for 4 people. Reduction for longer stays.

Vanuit de accommodatie is de binnenstad gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken. Ook is er een bushalte en een tramhalte dichtbij de accomodatie.

Bijzonder apart en fraai ontworpen jaren dertig pand in prettige, stille buurt op loopafstand van het centrum. Aanrader voor wie van architectuur houdt. Ook voor andere Gent-gangers want de kamers zijn aangenaam (licht, schoon, stil) met - dankzij de ligging op de bovenste etage - voldoende privacy. De eigenaren Karin en Eddy zijn vriendelijke, gastvrije mensen, bij wie toeristen met smaak (voor kunst, architectuur, poëzie) zich snel thuis zullen voelen. Ze serveren een prettig ontbijt (o.m. croissant, broodjes, bio-marmalades, kaas) en dringen zich niet aan hun gasten op.

Zeer gastvrij onthaal. Prima ontbijt, aankomst en vertrektijden in overleg met de gastvrouw. Dichtbij het St. Pieters station (10 minuten) en op ongeveer 25 minuten lopen van het historisch centrum van Gent. Een aanradar!!
