Number 11 is situated in the heart of old Bruges, in a quiet traffic free street, overlooking the beautiful "Groene Rei" canal, and one of the the town's oldest bridges. As far as we could trace back into the 16 th century, the house has a colourful past; Through its rooms have passed nobles, nuns and trading people. The house has now been beautifully restored as a guesthouse with exclusive rooms and a deluxe suite. Throughout the restauration we sought to keep the authentic cosy atmosphere of an old historical building, at the same time providing all modern comforts. Each room overlooks a different scenic spot of Bruges and has its own individual character, with finest quality furnishings and bedlinen.

The salon and breakfast room are exclusively for the use of guests, and overlook a quiet walled garden. There is an honesty bar downstairs, stocked with soft drinks, wine and Belgian beers,champagne.

All guests receive their own key, which gives access to the main entrance and their own room, giving total freedom to come and go.There is a cultured artistic atmosphere to the whole house, with a permanent exhibition the paintings and sculptures of Martine Bossuyt.
Some parts of the guesthouse were used in 2007 as a filmset for the famous movie ‘In Bruges’ with
Collin Farrel, Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes.
