Designer B&B Steel, a luxurious hideaway in Amsterdam

Steel is a boutique bed&breakfast situated on the ground floor of an old Amsterdam warehouse. A perfect hideaway where design meets comfort in a luxurious and private atmosfere. Steel is not only named after the street its in but also its interior, that can be described as very stylish. Steel is located in the old centre of Amsterdam and is surrounded by several designer shops, bars and restaurants.

The luxury furnished studio has all amenities you could expect of an exclusive hotel. For example; a lavish floor heated Rain shower with a separate illuminated bath. The 26” flatscreen tv, Nespresso coffee machine and fully equipped kitchen with stocked mini-bar are just a few more of the extras. Even breakfast is served in style, courtesy of Puccini who are famous in Amsterdam for their coffee, sandwiches and chocolate.

Steel’s biggest plus must be that privacy is fully guaranteed because it consists of 1 suite only. What happens at Steel stays at Steel… The guest need not worry either about reservations or guestlists at Amsterdam’s hotspots.   • Ligging in hartje amsterdam is perfect, leuk straatje met Leuke winkeltjes en restaurantjes. Fijn dat we onze spullen nog op de kamer konden achterlaten omdat het appartement nog vrij was. Leuk appartement voor jonge stellen .

  • Als niet Amsterdammer voel je meteen Amsterdammer als je 's ochtends de deur uitloopt bij Steel. Je eigen stukje Amsterdam. Midden in de stad, slenter je zo naar alles eigenlijk. Bijzonder design met oog en liefde voor detail. Smaakvol en warm -feels like home-. Midden in de stad en toch rustig waarbij het aanvullende ontbijt bij Puccini aan de overkant van het straatje een fijn begin van de dag is.

  • I have to say Steel is fabulous. Every design detail is functional and esthetically pleasing. Love the furnishings, finish materials, the fixtures, radiant heated bathroom area, the placement and proportion of the dividing wall and of course the calming chic river rock tucked away here and there. All the small touches (scented herbal toiletries, esspresso maker...) very appreciated.  I can tell much thought went into the creation of this space... bravo well done! An experience we will savor until our next visit.

  • I was quite impressed with my stay at Steel. The apartment is quite adorable - both the rain shower and the bright red glowing tub were wonderful. The location was perfect - we were right in the middle of everything yet it was quite and quaint. I would highly recommend a stay here, both for the value and originality!
