Very good B&B! Jan and Francien are very warm and welcoming people. They find a perfect balance between getting to know you and respecting your privacy. The location is super, an apartment with your own entrance and all the facilities you might need. Also a very easy access to the city center. I would definitely recommend this B&B to everyone. When I return to Amsterdam, I will go back to stay with them again.

The ratings simply don't do justice to a wonderful place such as Het Oude Dijkhuis. We had the most marvelous stay, Jan and Francien were the most wonderful hosts, who made us feel very welcome, and shared lovely breakfast conversation with us. The fully equipped apartment was beautifully decorated, lovely and warm and fully equipped with all that you might need to feel a 'home away from home'. I would highly recommend this accommodation to special guests that pass through Amsterdam.

Service was erg goed, persoonlijke aandacht, lekker uitgebreid ontbijt en zelfs ov-kaarten te gebruiken en later te verrekenen.

Sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieterin, gab uns viele Tipps für Ausflugsziele in Holland und natürlich für Amsterdam. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück mit allem, was man möchte, einmal gab es auch "Pannekuche"! Sehr lecker. Das Haus ist historisch, mit allen Vorteilen - Charme und Gemütlichkeit - aber auch den Nachteilen - steile Treppen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, vor allen Dingen hat man ruhig geschlafen und mit dem Bus war man in 10 Minuten am Hauptbahnhof, bei den Parkgebühren und Parkplatzsuche ein großes Plus.

The owners of this B&B are very friendly, helpful and kind. Their Breakfast buffet is prepared with attention to detail and of big variety and freshness. The accommodation is actually a self contained Apartment with all conveniences, comfortable and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend it to others.

Hele aardige Mensen die het verhuren, de prijs is supergoedkoop, vind ik, met 10 minuten ben je in de binnenstad met bus 32. Rustig gelegen aan een dijk aan het water, een haventje en een leuke kroeg "het sluisje" De ligging idillisch/romantisch im Amsterdam noord. Leuke buurt, echt een annradertje als je 's avonds wat rust wilt en met de fluitende vogels wil opstaan. Alles in de buurt, bakker slager, etc.
