If you like space, privacy and comfort, then Bed and Breakfast ‘De Ontdekking’ (thus named after the building) is for you the ideal place to stay in the old part of Amsterdam. ‘De Ontdekking’ is a homely town apartment in the Indonesian quarter, a fifteen-minute walk away from the centre.
Privacy and comfort
In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the apartment has been equipped with all the modern comforts. The large and luxurious kitchen has all you need to do your own catering. On the terrace, you can enjoy a well deserved rest. There is no climbing up and down of stairs: the entire apartment is on the ground floor.
Private entrance
A stay in ‘De Ontdekking’ offers you the opportunity to benefit from everything Amsterdam has to offer. Your own private entrance on the street side allows you to organise your days as suits you best. And the tram is within hand reach! The tram stop (line 14 towards downtown/de Dam) is only 50 meters from your doorstep.
Prices
Low season: € 105.00 per night for two people.
High season: € 120.00 per night for two people.
3rd and 4th person: € 40.00 per night (capacity: 4 people).
Children under 4 years old: free
Children from 4 to 15 years old: € 25.00 per night per child.
notice: We don’t serve breakfast, but– on request - we will be happy to have your fridge well-stocked upon arrival.
Minimum stay: 2 nights.
All our prices include tourist fees. Price for parking your car in the garage: € 15,=
notice: Paid parking in front of the door! (Price of a day card: € 17,70).

Pieter & Jorine were very easy to communicate with. The apartment is lovely, clean & with a small garden. Perfect if you are with a young family & don't want to be stuck in a hotel room! I'd recommend B&B De Ontdekking 100%.

Hele fijne overnachting gehad! Prima appartement, heerlijke bedden, hele hartelijke ontvangst door eigenaren.

Heel goed verzorgd appartement, inrichting is met veel zorg gebeurd, aan goede details gedacht. Veel ruimte en privacy, tramhalte naar centrum voor de deur. Koelkast met ontbijt was heel compleet. Ook thee en koffie, cruesli ed was aanwezig. Eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk, veel info over ansterdam aanwezig.

Zalig om zoveel comfort te hebben, je voelt je direct een beetje thuis! heeel goede/vriendelijke ontvangst en goeie uitleg/info over amsterdam zaaaaaaalig adresje!
