Amsterdam - 17th Century canalhouse in the centre of Amsterdam
This unique house nestled in the heart of Amsterdam's main canals, was bought 30 years ago by Ton van der Stap and Loes Olden. Situated on one of the most peaceful and rustic parts of the Herengracht it lies within five minutes walking distance from Central Station. This 17th Century canal house was taken back to its original state and has now been converted into a unique bed and breakfast.
The first room located in the front of the house has an uninterupted vieuw over the canal. The second is at the backhouse, and is a duplex with a livingroom on one level and a bedroom above, both bright and spacious.
The "styleroom" is located on the groundlevel of the back-house where breakfast is served every morning, with fresh rolls, juice and newspaper.
