This bright and airy apartment is situated in the Westerpark area within walking distance of the cultural centre Westergasfabriek, in a lively street with shops, restaurants and bars. There is a bus stop in front of the house and a supermarket just 10 meters away. The Jordaan area, Amsterdam Central Station, the city centre and all the main tourist attractions are reached by a 5 minute bus ride.
The 55 m2 apartment is on the second floor and is reached via the traditional steep Amsterdam staircase. There is no lift present making the apartment unsuitable for elderly, infirm or disabled people.
The entire apartment has recently been completely renovated. All the fittings, fixtures and furniture are brand new and the light oak herringbone floors add to the general feeling of light and space.
The attractive, open plan living area includes lounge, dining and kitchen areas. The fully equipped kitchen contains a custom made stainless steel cooking island with induction cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, coffee machine, combi oven/microwave/grill. The splitback sofa-bed in the lounge area is easily converted into a bed, providing room for a third person to sleep. The bedroom has a large comfortable bed and a roomy wardrobe with sliding mirror doors. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, bidet, toilet, washbasin, hairdryer and a heated towel rail. There is also a separate laundry room with wash/dry/iron facilities. Towels and bed linen are provided.

High speed broadband internet access is provided free of charge. The apartment is also equipped with a pc, bose speakersystem, ipod dock, 42 inch plasma television and dvd player.
