We welcome you in a stately manor from 1904, in the shadow of the church on a picturesque square, ‘Laar’ in Borgerhout.
‘Laar’ is a quiet oasis in the middle of the lively centre of Antwerp.
‘B&B Bakeliet’ is an ideal base for visiting Antwerp, 10 minutes walk to the shopping centre (Meir) and even less to the central station, the famous Zoo and the many restaurants at the ‘Keyserlei’.
Breakfast is served in a part of the ‘Red Juliet’ shop (www.redjuliet.be) where the hostess sels her own collection of evening- and partydresses. It’s a cosy room where you can read your newspaper or even check your emails, there is free wifi at your disposal.
We've got two rooms :
the ‘Charlie Feathers’ room in a typical fifties style.
The next room, ‘Billie Holiday’ is fourties style room.

-overdag platenwinkels afschuimen in het centrum.
-je haar laten knippen bij rock n roll kapper Rudy
-Belgisch biertje drinken in café de Pelikaan of Bar Déco.
-Lekker eten in de Druiventros, met mooi retro interieur er gratis bij...

Een leuke plek om te "logeren"in Antwerpen. Net ver uit het centrum, aardige gastheer en -vrouw. Zeker een aanrader om hier te verblijven.

Het was een heel leuk verblijf in deze mooie, ruime b&b. Geweldig: Hier kan je ook plaatjes draaien in je kamer. Leuke tips van de eigenaar gehad over Antwerpen. Ja, we hebben erg genoten van deze 50iger jaren b&b.
